Our Journey to Vancouver
It wasn’t easy saying good-bye to 5055 Cordova Bay, but we were also excited to see new things. We took a BC ferry to Vancouver and ate a late picnic breakfast – lunch called a brunch in Englishon the top of the ferry. It was beautiful. Mimi was very kind and got up very early, like at about 4:00am and made the big picnic for us and packed all our left over food, so that we could use in Vancouver. The brunch was delicious! Thank you Mimi.
Once we were on the mainland we went to the Canadian and American border. It was really weird, because there really isn’t a border at all.
There is a road called 0 Avenue in Canada, and when you cross to the south side of it, you can find border crossing signs that read the United States on one side and Canada on the other – and that’s it. One step, we were in the United States. We took some pictures and then we left to find our new home in Kerrisdale.
